Happenings!

Hey Everyone!

It seems quick, but it is Wednesday already. I’ll take that.

Right after work yesterday I stopped at the post office to pick up my wife’s long awaited birthday gift. It came from Australia and was on back order, but it was worth the wait. She loves it and have been transferring all of her stuff into it. She will be using that bag for a long while.

I have a retired electrician coming over tonight if nothing changes in his schedule. With any luck at all he can quickly get my damn lights working so I can put my 8 seat dining room table back haha.

I did, however, realize that I also have a Masonic meeting tonight. DOH! We took July and August off like we do each year, and tonight it is back on! We are having a degree conferred on a candidate as well. It will be his first degree out of three, his Entered Apprentice Degree. We had two practices over the last two weeks so we should be ready. I hope the electrician is gone before I have to go. πŸ˜€

This weekend we have the company outing! I’m looking forward to it, because we haven’t been kayaking at all this summer. We start around 9:30am with that, followed by a catered picnic, corn hole, disc golf, and washer toss. It will be an all day thing and it is the first time that this event has been both men and women as well as spouses. There are over 100 people signed up to come. It should be a great time.

That is all I have for you today! I hope to see you all again tomorrow! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Amazing (Busy) Weekend!

Hey Everyone!

Back from another great and productive weekend! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Friday wasn’t fun by any means but I did get to cross something off the to do list. After work Friday I picked Everett up from his last day at daycare, went home and started working on our tub. I had to chip, pull, and chisel the old caulking out. That was the worst thing I have done in a long while, even worse than painting our fence. After that it was time to clean and re-caulk it. I tried for the first time the hand squeezed tubes of sealant, thinking it would be easier in that tight space, but I really didn’t like it. I went through 4 of the little things and at the end of the day would have liked more, but that amount at least filled the space back up. So on that note everything is looking good.

Saturday was our super busy day. We woke up, had breakfast and headed to my wife’s mom’s house. We got to her place and cooked out on the grill, fr lunch. Everett was having a great time under the patio umbrella.

1

My wife was invited as a guest to the wedding of her dad’s, wife’s, mother’s wedding. She was also there to take pictures of the event. At the same time I was heading out to my best friends 30th birthday party that his wife threw him. They happened to be the same time and in different directions, so I missed the wedding. I was able to catch up with him and his family for a couple of hours before heading back to the reception on the lake. There they had a beautifully decorated ball room on the ground level over looking part of the lake.

2

The dinner consisted of everything on my plate haha. Keep it short and sweet! πŸ˜€

3

Once it was time to leave the reception we stopped to visit my wife’s dad. He isn’t in the greatest health anymore and it has come on all of the sudden. His brother and sister in-law were there too. We hung out for a bit and then stopped back at her mom’s to get Everett. By the time we made it home again it was 10:30pm and we were beat!

As days go, Sunday was next on the list. We had 2 softball games in the middle of the day. In short we won both games pretty convincingly. I pitched the second game until it was a blow out and then we all swapped positions. I hit a big home run in the second game, but other than that a quit hitting day for me with only a .500 average.

4

When I got home I just stayed in my ball pants and mowed the grass, and trimmed the edges. Everett was outside with him mom enjoying the sun and the pool we inflated. When I got finished I just stripped down and laid in the pool. Then the randomness started. We wanted to head back to the local Ollie’s Bargain store to look around. We wanted to get something for the yard. We we did and headed home. More on that in a bit. My mother and wife decided to take the initiative and weed what they could of our massive garden. It is over run with that Morning Glory crap and it is everywhere.

9

So it all looks like that up top

610

They got this back half looking pretty good, but had to stop due to time and lack of room in the truck bed lol. If they could do this for another 3 solid days they could weed all of the flower beds in the front and back yard, if they hustled. πŸ˜€ In the mean time I was draining the pool to move it for our big purchase! I was in the background setting it all up.

7

We bought this nice offset umbrella for the yard as well as the bug net, four chairs, and glass table all for $200! πŸ˜€ I’m grinning at that price all day. πŸ˜€

Lastly a nice look from within. If you look close you can see Everett ‘helping’ in the last four pictures haha. He stood out there with them the whole time, just holding on to the wheel barrow.

8

Once I was done unloading the scraps at my parent’s house, we called it a night and here we are. It was a great weekend I would do it all over again in a heartbeat if given the chance. I hope you all had an amazing weekend as well. I’ll be back again tomorrow for another daily post, and hope to see you then! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Back To Work!

Hey Everyone!

Yesterday was fun but now it is back to work for two days. I’m not really sure how I feel about it. It isn’t the end of the world and most people have called the rest of the week off, just because they can. So it’s a bit slow here anyway. I have had to replace some terminals in the shop, and let me tell you it is hot out there. From the moment I walked out onto the shop floor I have beads of sweat running down my back. It is awful.

Anyway. The parade was a blast. It rained for about 10 minutes then got nice out again, it was sort of refreshing. We sat where we always have, that way people can find us. My wife’s sister came down as well as my aunts and uncles.

1.jpg

This is the only real picture I took at the parade. That is my cousins wife Cassie and their new baby Cohen. He just woke up from a nap and they realized there were other little people there haha.

After the parade we had a great time at my parents. We grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, and sausage. My cousins, brothers, and I played a few games of Kan Jam and beat the heat in the shade of a large trees in their yard.

The hardest part of the day, for me, was trying to stay awake long enough to go watch the fireworks. My wife and Everett opted to stay home and sleep, since it was a Wednesday after all. I fought the urge to sleep and lazily made my way to my older brothers house where we watched the fireworks, in kayaks, on the pond.

234567891011

I was instructed by a Google search to use the Pro setting on my phone camera to get the best results, for firework photography haha. I set the ISO low, and some other crap, and I think they turned out pretty ok. πŸ˜‰

Then it was off to bed, only to be woken up at 4am to a screaming baby. the poor guy was hungry, and cranky. He stayed in bed with my wife while I got ready for the day, then I fed him some breakfast and took him to daycare for the second to last time. His last day is tomorrow and it is a bit bitter sweet.

That is all from me today, I hope you all had a great 4th of July! πŸ˜€ I’ll be back tomorrow morning with any luck, for a ‘Coffee Talk.’ Hope to see you then. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Birthday Party!

Hey Everyone!

So Friday…

No post. I was swamped Friday. Before I walked in the door to work, I had an email saying that one of our machines was down. It turns out that it was really down and I spent, literally, the whole work day at our other plant fixing that machine.

Onward! Friday after work I came home, mowed the grass, weeded the garden, set up a tent, and chairs. The big party was Saturday! Everett will be 1 year old tomorrow, how crazy is that?!? It is hard to believe. It seems very fast haha.

Saturday came and we woke up still getting everything ready. I got all of the decorations ready. I blew up helium balloons, and tied them to the tent posts and in the front yard. We hung up a couple banners that we made the night before:

13

14

Look at that painted fence! πŸ˜‰

We had about 20 or so people there, consisting of family and friends.

Here is a nice family photo of us, once the sun came out. πŸ˜€

1

Everett is cheesin with his cousin Rory. (my brother’s daughter)

2

Everett received a swing from his great grandma, so he took it for a swing with his Grandpa Fred.

3

A couple of my wife’s best friends came down to hang out with us, which we appreciated. That was before the chaos of the party haha.

7

10

Here is my wife and her dad. It was nice that he was able to make it down to the party.

11

We ate some great food, and then opened some gifts. A few people contributed to Everett’s 529 college savings plan, which is amazing. I’m so glad they decided to help in that way. He got a few books, and plenty of outfits. His grandma got him a kiddie pool and some stuff for that too. Here he is holding his first pair of shades.

4

He looks pretty cool to me!

8

Who you lookin at?

9

Next up….cake! Patiently waiting..

5

Moments before, I lead “Happy Birthday” on my Ukulele. then the cake was there for the playing!

12

He slapped it apart. He loved squeezing it in his hands before smashing it into his face.

6

Overall it was a great day for the party, everyone that we thought would be there showed up. Happy Birthday to Everett!

Sunday was a little busy as well. Friday my cousin stopped by and asked if I could help him deliver his jeep axles to a garage. I had softball as well. Well, softball got pushed back two hours due to rain, so I could only play one game. We lost the game to a team we hate losing too but we will meet them again later in the season. I got work that the second game went much better and we beat them by the ten run rule.

I ran home and changed my clothes and had some left over party food before helping my cousin. He basically needed someone to help physically move the axles. They are pretty heavy. Everything went smoothly and we didn’t drop them on our feet haha.

That was my weekend! I hope you had a great one as well. I’ll be back again tomorrow, I hope to see you then! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

I’m Back! (Pictures)

Hey Everyone!

I bet you thought I died haha. If you can recall I was feeling really crappy last week. I mentioned it Monday and Tuesday. Wellllllll, It wasn’t getting better so I took Wednesday and Thursday off. I wanted to be well enough to enjoy the holiday with my family. I’m still hacking and sniffling here at work today but I’ll be ok. My wife is now sick and Everett is still yucky as well. We did make it though and we did have a great time, so I’ll jump right in!

Saturday was our busiest day, by far. My wife had a sunrise photo shoot at 7am. I was home getting Everett ready for his first swim class! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ When my wife got home we were pretty much ready to go. Here is my boy in the YMCA parking lot.

1

We took him into the family changing area where we met my mom, brother and his little girl. Everett was checking everything out so he wasn’t very animated haha. But look at that little swim suit! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

2

He was a little hesitant at first, but warmed up quite nicely. It was only 30 minutes but that seems like an eternity once you are in there. The girl standing next to us is the instructorΒ  (not just a random creeper haha)

3

4

Part of the way though they put these floating letters and noodles in the pool for the kids to hang on to. Everett was getting used to laying on his back in this one. He did get there!

5

Once we were done at the pool we had to hurry home and take showers. We were right back out the door to go to my cousin Austin’s baby shower. Here is my cousin, my aunt, and his new baby boy Koen! He is a cutie with big cheeks. (Fun fact: He is almost 3 months old and weighs as much as Everett haha)

15

Again, after the baby shower we hit the road and went to My wife’s families house for Easter. When we got there he had these ears put on him haha.

6

Everett’s grandpa and his family came over for dinner, which was a nice treat.

7

The rest of the night was spent playing with the three little kids that were there. We hit the hay early because we were drained and still were getting over some sickness. Sadly my wife woke up Sunday feeling worse. :/

Everett was enjoying some pancakes and yogurt bite in the morning.

8

Again we got ready and headed out. We were going to Erie to my aunt and uncle’s house for our other traditional Easter lunch. There were 8 children there under the age of 8! that hasn’t happened since all of my cousins and I were little. It was awesome having that many people there and seeing the next generation of little ones. The best part is they all seem to get alone and play like crazy.

After we ate I helped hide Easter eggs in the yard and my wife got Everett ready to go. He wasn’t feeling it haha.

9

Here we go!

This is His first ever egg hunt so it was pretty fun.

11

12

13

17

18

Once all the kids came back in the house and got their candy sorted we tried to get them all on the couch for a picture. This was chaotic, but fun!Β  This is about as good as any picture got haha. The second one on the left is my niece Rory and she was not having it haha. It was still pretty funny.

19

Everett was looking out the window with one of his cousins here and it was just too cute to pass up.

20

Lastly for Sunday, before the long drive home was another shot of my newest baby cousins Koen, again. He was dressed in his little bunny outfit. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

21

We woke this morning feeling groggy and out of it. I made it to work, still not feeling the greatest, but I have to power through. It can only get better from here right? haha.

I have missed you all, and hope you had a great holiday weekend! I’ll be back tomorrow, and hope to see you then! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Where Have I Been! (For Shame)

Hey Everyone!

You may have thought that I fell off the flat parts of the Earth. Even though it seems that way it isn’t the case, I promise!I had every intention to post Thursday and Friday.

Let me explain. As you may know my baby had an ear infection, and my wife and I had head colds. He was already started on his antibiotic and starting to feel better. I was still feeling a bit under the weather. I woke up Thursday feeling worse. I came into work anyway because I didn’t want to take time off and not really have a medical reason. I quickly realized that I couldn’t think full thoughts and even walk in a straight line, without having a shooting pain in my head stopping me in my tracks. I spent the next hour trying to contact my family doctor only to have their line be busy over and over and over again…. Their phone system must have been messed up. I finally made the decision to leave and go to the walk in clinic at the hospital. Of course only to find out that they didn’t open for another hour…. I was clearly not in the right state of mind. When I arrived, at the correct time, I was seen and told that I had a bad sinus infection. At this point it was hurting in my ears and still shooting pains in my head. They sent me a script for some big horse pills. I took the next day, Friday, off as well because I was feeling worse than the day before. I really couldn’t even move the slightest bit without the worst pain I have felt in a long while. By the end of that day I did start feeling better, I wasn’t sure how much better, but it was significant.

I went to bed hoping that I would feel more ‘like normal’ in the morning. That was indeed the case. I woke up still congested but I was able to walk and bend down with out the pain. I was indeed clearing up. Just in time too! My dad and I were signed up for the company men’s outing that day. It started at 8am, but we didn’t go until noon. We were signed up for the horseshoe tourney and the cornhole tourney. I decided that this would be a good test of how I felt and maybe get some fresh air. We stayed and have lunch, dinner and some giveaways. The event was held at the local Amvets gun club. The weather was unbeatable, and the food and company was better. All around it was a great day. Here are just a couple pictures I grabbed.

20170916_12420920170916_12421620170916_13034320170916_182450

Sunday, since I felt like a loser for not pulling my weight, we spent most of the day cleaning and tidying up. Early on we got groceries, which was nice because no one was there at 8:30 am lol.  We later went for a walk around the neighborhood. I tried watching the Dallas game, but they had a lightning delay in Denver and then proceeded to get their asses kicked 😦 It was rough.

Today I am BACK! Back at work, back at blogging, and back to normal.Β  I have some catching up to do here in the office, so my post will be early. Sorry for going dark, but I’m back at it now!

I’ll see you all tomorrow! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

I’m Back! (Reunion Update)

Hey Everyone!

Let me start by saying that this could easily fill a whole weeks worth of posts. It won’t because then I would have to spend waaaayyyy too much of my time splitting it all up haha.

So, I’m back from my week long family reunion, and boy did I have a great time! I think I overheard that the total number of people in attendance this year was around 90-95. That makes for a ton of good conversation, and a busy week. I got there one night before it started and helped with some last minute prepping. There were only a handful of us there then. One of the last things we needed to do was shop for the first two days worth of food. To make it harder we had to make sure that all foo and gluten allergies were taken into account. Here is the food receipt for the first two days lol.

round one of reunion food ~ whoa!!.jpeg

You really don’t want to know how much that came to haha.

To get a decent lay of the land here are a couple pictures showing where most people were staying:

IMG_2174IMG_2175

It is just a huge yard that we turned into a motel.

As people would arrive they could take the golf cart and trailer to unload their stuff for the week.

peace dude.jpeg

I had mentioned before that we had a few (understatement) kids coming. I can now tell you that off the top of my head there were more than 15 kids under the age of 10!

20170810_19030720170811_10502520170811_11273220170811_11333220170811_14285720170811_19414620170812_09052820170812_14182620170812_14183720170813_14255820170813_14274120170813_18274620170814_115209IMG_2220IMG_2256IMG_2257IMG_2266IMG_2287

Sometimes you party too hard haha!

mini donuts for silassilas having fun in sand & water table

Now if these pictures haven;t got you asking what are they doing in some of these I don’t know what will! Throughout the week there were games everyday. Some of the games were for kids only ( I played), some were for adults, most were for both. Our daily guideline board looked like this each day:

IMG_2168.JPG

Each day as split up and this was posted where we ate, in and off of the garage. With that many people we had birthdays each day!

Some of the activities were physical, others mental, and most of all very fun!

As you saw the kids played twister, well so did we!

20170810_185311IMG_1789

I’m there in the camo hat with the black shirt. I didn’t last very long haha. They guy in the green hat filming is my cousin who lives in Santa Barbara California. He is a film maker. He is putting together a short film about being here during the reunion, so he was everywhere as well.

Sometime during the week we also played a yard sized game of Memory, and had some scavenger hunts.

IMG_1849

That is me out there pointing. I was having a few of the kids help me with my guesses.

20170811_111544IMG_1856IMG_1898

When that was all said and done my team won by one pair! Go Pink Team!

The first ‘hunt’ was to match items in nature to the color swatches, it was a lot harder than we all thought. Here is what we gathered.

20170811_101136

Not bad! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

The next one involved finding clues to a puzzle leading you to other clues. It was as tough as it sounds as well.

IMG_2215img_2216.jpg

The finished image relates to the layout of where we were.

We had a relay race at some point and then played my favorite game of the week, Human Foosball!

IMG_1749

There was some ‘Skip-It’ action, Hula Hoops, and jump roping!

IMG_1755

The Foosball games were intense and fun. You had to hold on to the piece of PVC pipe and not let go. It was on rope just like the little guys in a Foosball table. First one to five wins!

IMG_2113IMG_2122IMG_2136

My team won and then I helped the little kids play after. Those pictures are up with the kids. When you could find a bit of down time people played cards.

IMG_1992.JPG

A little backstory is needed for this next activity. Months before the reunion we were asked to fill out a questionnaire. It was filled with questions like, what is you best advice, name a fact about yourself, etc… Well they turned it into a matching game. We all huddled up and tried to match the person to the answer! A lot of work went into that and it was fun to play. My best advice was to “Smell your milk” lol. Boy I’m special.

IMG_2015.JPG

I’m sure you have all seen things in the news about people painting rocks and hiding them in parks for people to find. Some are inspirational others are just spreading happiness. Well during the whole week we had a station dedicated to painting rocks, with a hashtag on the back for the reunion. We had everyone take theirs home with them and spread them around. We hope that we see the rocks again when people find them, by following the hashtag.

IMG_210720170814_194006

The kids dyed some shirts:

IMG_1906IMG_2178IMG_2179

A handful of the girls found a spot in the woods and made “‘Bear Camp’. We then made a thing out of it and showed everyone!

20170813_11110320170813_11370420170813_142104IMG_2201IMG_2205

Since this whole event is because of my great grandparents, we are fairly big into genealogy. My one cousin created a nice slideshow presentation covering some of that early history. he was able to present it four different times to different crowds throughout the week.

20170812_200357

Above is my little Everett, who is named after the guy below. His great great grandfather!

20170812_20051320170812_210158

It is really interesting to still have people alive at this reunion that can fill in some minor details that you would otherwise never get. Four of the remaining six children are still with us today. That being said there are some that couldn’t be with us and those of us who like that sort of thing, go to the cemeteries around to look for old relatives.

20170813_16263320170814_17490020170814_18353520170815_11131620170815_111338

This last picture is of my great grandfather’s, grandfather! This was the headstone that we were looking to find! Mission accomplished haha.

Nearing the end of this post I swear!

What family reunion would be complete without food and fires!?! We had great homemade food all week and treats from the Amish. We were also surprised to have a mini doughnut truck there one day!

20170810_080428

This was the first and most healthy breakfast I had. It was all downhill from there lol.

20170810_201652

Here we have the popcorn and cotton candy machine!

20170812_090109

These were pastries made by an Amish woman my great aunt Jackie knows. They were better than this picture could ever capture!

20170812_173126

We had a make your own pizza bar!

Then on to the doughnuts:

20170813_15265520170813_15294820170813_153054

We could choose from powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, or chocolate! Again, absolutely delicious. Straight out of the fryer and into your mouth!

And the fires!

20170813_21242620170814_210723

At the end of the week my dad was awarded with the MVP trophy and instantly awarded it back to my cousin who helped organized this whole reunion!

20170814_20121120170814_201253

And the remainder of the pictures fit in no category, so I’ll just post them here. Great family fun, and love everywhere you turned!

PC Game Night!

Hey Everyone!

Yesterday was more a day of gaming. I know that doesn’t interest most of you but it is nice to take some time and play a game that puts you in an alternate reality. Of course I came home and did the husbandly duties. My wife still isn’t feeling well, and we needed groceries. (damn I can never spell that word) I ran out and got those, as well as started some laundry, and cleared the dishes from the kitchen.

I first started playing GTA-V since I hadn’t been on it in a long time. I ran a few of their stunt races, and did very poorly haha. They all look similar to this:

maxresdefauw3u5se5lt

You run around the regular map with up to 15 other people and use your custom cars. The developers made these races as an extension to the regular races, and they are a pretty big hit. They recently came out with some new vehicles too, so I wanted to check that out also.

I switched gears and played some Rainbow 6: Siege. I just played some casual games since I wasn’t in good form. The last thing I want to to go unprepared into a competitive game, and piss people off haha. I had some fun. The matchmaking was giving quite the range of opponents, but I was on point with my aim and movement.Β  I hooked up with a good group of random guys and we played about four games together as a team. We won each one fairly convincingly. So I figured that was a good place to stop. I usually keep playing and playing, then end up getting mad when I do poorly and quit in anger. So to remedy that I end on a high note and come back to it later or on another day. Here are the operators you can choose while playing:

tyakn6lqox7y

You can see where they are from on the left, as well as whether they are attackers or defenders. Each operator has their own unique talent, which makes them special. There are two missing in this picture and they are the new-ish Spanish operators. (Shown below)

r6-velvet-shell-mira-jackal.jpg

After leaving Rainbow 6 behind, and on a good note, I switched to the increasingly popular Rocket League. I got stuck early on in this season with crappy competitive rank. Playing in the random 3v3 league will do that sometimes. I started doing a few casual games and then hopped into a few comps. I was able to win four or five of the six or seven games that I played, in ranked. I went from a middle tier silver rank to a middle tier gold rank, so I am pretty happy about that.Β  Here is a quick shot of my favorite map, the Aquadome:

RocketLeagueAquaDome1-1400x788.jpg

You can see the marine life through out the whole game, moving and swimming all over. The graphics can be outstanding if your PC can run it all on high or ultra.

But that about sums up my night. Nothing really going on, and had some time to kill.

I hope you enjoyed this installment, and I hope to see you all back again tomorrow! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

The Little Prince (Edit 200th Post!!!!)

Hey Everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend, even though they seem to go by way too quick!

Ohhh, where to start…um I’m having trouble remembering what I did Friday after work. It must not have been too important. I know we didn’t do much until Sunday, but I should have somthing to say haha. I know we wanted to have a full on game night and that never transpired. My brother worked on Friday and they were busy Saturday.

Saturday we cleaned the house and that took most of the day. We did watch a movie at random on Netflix, that turned out to be one of my favorite movies, for what it is. It is the 2015 animated movie ‘The Little Prince.’ It is a movie based around the book. There are two types of animation to differentiate, the movie from the ‘story’ within the story. It is super cute, yet at the same time tackles big issues. It is about true life, death, ego, greed, emotions, and remembrance. If you have a spare hour and forty eight minutes give it a watch. Even though it is animated there are some very recognizable voices. You can hear Jeff Bridges as ‘The Aviator’, Rachel McAdams as ‘The Mother’, James Franco as ‘The Fox’, Benicio Del Toro as ‘The Snake’, Ricky Gervais as ‘The Conceited Man’, and finally Paul Rudd as ‘Mr. Prince’.Β  I was pleasantly surprised that we picked a newer animated movie that didn’t suck. Here are a couple linksΒ  for more information: IMDB and The Story.

Sunday, I got together with my mom, dad, and brother to work out. I choose not to bother working out since I have lost all of the will to do so. I am however on a very successful, healthy diet. Sunday was special since we don’t usually get together. My brother asked if we could go to my companies, small gym, since you have to work here to get in. I agreed and my dad, who also works here, brought my mom. We were there for about an hour and a half, and man am I sore. I haven’t worked out like that since early college. It felt good and even the soreness proves to be a welcomed feeling. Once we left the gym I was able to get home and take a shower, just in time for my mother in-law and sister in-law to show up. they live about an hour and a half away and were coming to drop off a baby stroller for us and hang out. We played ‘Telestrations’ for a little bit and ate lunch. The stroller is freaking awesome! It all popped right into place and folds right up for easy travel/storage. It came with a car seat and a base. We have the whole travel system with this thing. The car seat latches right to the stroller and is perfect. I of course failed to get a picture but here is a stock image of the same model: pTRU1-22065431enh-z6

Today I have been able to organize my thoughts a bit better. I created a ‘Home To-do List’, that should keep me on track and put things in order. I have it dropped in my One-Drive folder so I can access it from anywhere. As a quick update I have finally found a video about my damn tub. I think I now know how to get that cap off. I looked this weekend and realized that cutting an access port would be pointless, with how small the work area would be. If I have to I’ll pop it off and just seal the whole thing up and never worry about it again haha.

I hope you have enjoyed your stay with me today! πŸ˜€ I’d like to ask you all to let me know of a movie you have watched recently that has made a good impression on you. It can be anything from just a fun movie to watch, all the way to something heartfelt and touching. Let me know what it was and why you liked it, maybe a little backstory! You know…if you want to.Β

I’ll see you all back again tomorrow! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

New Game

Hey Everyone!

I hope you are having a good day. Last night I was able to add a coat of joint compound to our, in progress, breakfast nook. It is looking really good, even though I still need to add another coat. My wife heard from the contractor and he is looking for another measurement for the counter top. I’ll get that to him when I remember to take the measurement haha. My wife and I still need to decided on a paint color for that wall and what light fixtures will be going up.

Today has been pretty slow here at work. We have had some terrible weather here as well. The local schools were closed down today. We are and were getting up to a foot of snow in some areas. All I know is that it is a literal pain in the back to get that snow off of my driveway. I have been doing a good job so far, but this morning I swear my fingers were ready to fall off. It was reported to be in the single digits this morning where I live. Burr, I get cold just thinking about it.

I just bought a copy of the new “Bully: Scholarship Edition” on Steam. I did this because when I was a senior in high school a friend of mine and I stayed home for about a week straight and played the original game until we beat it. It is a good memory and I just knew I needed to get a copy to re-play it. It is set in a European primary school, and you are a kid going around breaking the norm. It doesn’t seem to be anything special but I would love to revisit it, so I got it. Since I’m talking about games today a bit I’ll let you know I have been put with a bunch of terrible Rocket League players lately. I lost my good rank and have to fight my way back. I dropped three ranks due to poor play on my teammates behalf. This isn’t to say that I was always playing at my best, just that the goals that were given up were on another player more so than myself. I did however lead my team to victory in a few Rainbow 6 Siege games last night, that was fun.

Tonight I’ll be adding another coat of joint compound and then how knows what. I can’t wait for the weekend so I can relax a bit and stay home. I also need to find a place close by that sells firewood. I would like to buy a full cord of wood at a reasonable price to have fires randomly throughout the winter months.

That is all for today. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week and keep warm and safe if you have crappy weather like I do. I’ll see you all again tomorrow! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€
